spinach with dhal (Thotakura pappu )
Spinach (palak) -- 3 small bunches or one large bunch
Thoor dhal -200 gms
onions -2 medium chopped
tomatoes -2- chopped
green chilli - 1 slit
tamarind -lemon sized
chilli powder -1-2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
salt to taste

Ingredients for tempering:

Split urad dhal, Chana dhal, red chilli halved, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafetita powder, few garlic cloves, Termaric powder, curry leaves, ghee and oil.

Methos
------------
Pressure cooks the chopped spinah leaves along with the thoor dhal, onions, green chilli, tomatoes, chilli powder, tamarind, and turmeric powder. Add some water to cook.
Once its cooked well, mash the dhal along with the spinach mixture well with a hevay laddle. add some salt.
Then temper the ingredients for tempering in some ghee and oil and pour it into the dhal mixture. and serve hot with rice or chappathi.

Method

In a cooker dal, tomato, green chilli, ginger, turmeric powder, 1 cup water and 1 drop oil, Then presure cook it.
In a heat bowl put oil , mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, red chilli, curry leaves, hing and termaric powder. Then add cooked dal, salt and cook for few mints.

1 Eggplant (medium sized)
1 1/2 cup Finely chopped onions

Apply some oil to the eggplant. Keep it on a hot griddle tawa in reduced flame or put it in the oven at high heat and bake .Once a side of the eggplant is properly cooked turn it. Likewise cook all the sides. It takes around 10-15 minutes to cook the whole eggplant. Once it is fully cooked, wait for it to cool down and then peel off the skin and mash well.
Heat oil in a pan, add musterd seeds, curry leaves, garlic, green chilli and chopped onions and fry over medium flame until light golden brown. Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and turmeric powder. Stir well and add chopped tomatoes and cook till tender. Now add the mashed eggplant , cooked peas and salt and stir for 5-6 minutes on a medium flame.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with chapatis or as a side dish with rice.

In a bowl smash boiled potato add onion, salt, garam masala, coriander powder, termaric, red chilli powder, coriander leaves mix well.
Then dip the bread in water once, and then squeeze the water out of it.
Take the mixture in small quantity and place it above the bread, Now roll the bread and deep fry it.

Mix all these Ingredients very well. Keep it aside for 2 hr and then fry it.

Grind all above ingredients to fine paste.
In a bowl add the above grounded masala, then add 3 tbsp cornflour mix it.
Then add Chicken pieces and mix well. Keep it for 3 hrs.
Before frying this chicken, dip into beaten Egg and fry. It Tastes really very good. This recipe is from my sister Puneeta. I love this chicken fry.

1 handful of Toor dal

Method

Soak rice, urad dal, chanda dal, toor dal for 5 hrs.
First grind rice and then add urad dal, chana dal, toor dal, salt mix upto fine paste.
Finally add sugar and mix well, keep this batter in a hot place like oven for almost 6 hrs.
Then you can make dosa. Eat this with potato bhaji or coconut chutney. Tastes really very good.

In a food processor add 6 Star anise, 6 cloves, 5 black pepper, 2 cinnamon sticks, little salt grind it. (This masala can use for some other recipes also).

Boil the rice with little salt and half spoon oil in a water.
In a pan heat oil, add onion fry for few mints, then add cabbage, green chilli fry for 6 mints.
Then add soya sauce, green chilli sauce, carrot, capsicum fry few mints.
Add 1 spoon grinded masala powder, salt, peas, little aginamoto mix well.
Add boiled rice, spring onion and mix well.

Method

Boil Macroni with salt and half spoon Oil. Then drain the water and keep aside.
In a hot Pan add oil and fry onion till they are transparent.
Then add green chillis fry few mints and the add ginger garlic paste fry two mints.
Add soya sauce, pasta sauce, tomato, little salt, Capsicum fry for 5 mints.
Then add Macroni and stire well. Switch off gas and garnish with Coriander leaves.

Method

To make the fried chicken pieces:-
Take chicken pieces in a non reactive bowl-(We use dark meat so that it is nice and juicy when fried).Add salt, Aji-no-moto,1 tsp ginger/garlic paste, pepper powder-pinch, cornflour and mix. Then add 1 egg and mix in completely-(Egg coats the meat and keeps the juices in).
Heat oil in a frying wok or kadhai-Add chicken pieces few at a time(Do not crowd the kadhai) and fry until lightly golden brown-Drain and remove on a paper towel.

To make the sauce:-
Heat 2-3 tsp oil in a pan-Add Onion, cumin, add the chopped ginger and garlic and suate until fragrant-Add chopped chillies, curry leaves,1 tsp ginger/garlic paste, remaining pepper powder, red chilli powder, Capsicum, salt, chilli/garlic paste, aji-no-moto, red color and mix-Cook for a few minutes.
Add a little water and then add chicken to this paste and toss lightly-Stir in the coriander leaves and serve.

In a pan heat oil and fry Mint leaf and green chilli .
Then Grind these Mint leaves and green chilli, gratted coconut, tomato, cinamon, cloves, cardamon, coriander leaves, garlic, ginger.
In a pan heat oil and fry onion add all vegitables and stir well for 10 mints.
Then add grinded masala to the pan, add salt to your taste and cook this mixture for few mints.
Add boiled rice and mix well. Your Veg Biriyani is ready. Eat with raita.

Note:Curry Leaf is used to treat kidney disorders, digestive disorders, premature grey hair, premature aged look, skin problems, nausea, vision disorders etc.

In a pan pour half spoon oil and Fry all these above Ingredients and add little water to grind. Method

In a cooker add 2 Spoon Ghee or Oil, add 2 chopped Onion, 1 stick Cinamon, 4 cloves, 3 black pepper, 1 bay leaf. Fry till they turn in to Golden Brown.
Then add Grinded masala fry until the raw smell goes.
Add vegitables like beans, carrot, peas, Tomato fry for few mints.
then add 2 Cups of Basmati Rice fry for 2 mints and then add 4 cups of water.
Add salt according to taste. And Presure cook it.
Eat this with Rita. Tates Good.
This recipe is from my mom, and also my fav Food.

Note: If you don't want to presure cook it, then you can boil seperatly each items like vegetables, Rice, and fry grinded masala with onion, whole garam masala and Tomato.
Then mix all together very well with carefully.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, red chilli and curry leaves.
Once spluttering of Mustard seeds add grinded masala to this pan and fry till raw smell goes.
Then add curd, salt according to your taste. Turn off the gas.
Add boiled Rice and mix well and garnish with Coriander leaves.

Method
------------
Boil the rice with salted water until almost done. Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil/ghee in a shallow pan or a kadai.
Add a pinch of asafoetida. mustard seeds Add dried red chillies broken into two, urad dal, chana dal, peanuts fry for few minutes and then add ginger and green chilli. Cook until dals change colour to light brown.
then add curry leaves, sesame seeds. Mix turmeric powder in this. Stir fry for half a minute. Then add salt and lemon juice. Add cooked rice.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
